Doing 1 thing at a time.

ADHD Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.

This word looks big, but sometimes I really wonder if I have this ADHD especially when it comes to reading. Hahaha... I have a problem with reading. Sometime I will need to read a sentence over and over again just to be sure what I was reading. Maybe is because I was not reading at a "correct" environment. Even though I may be interested in the subject that I am reading, I just don't seem to be able to finish reading a chapter without doing something else. But I can sit down and finish a 1000 pieces jigsaw puzzle with in few hours. So the issue is not with ADHD, it just that I don't like to read.

A Test of Faith

Now is a time of uncertainly for me now. My contract is ending in less than a month time. My online project is almost done, should be ready to launch by next week. I am not so worry that I do not have a job. I believe when my online project is done, it should be able to support me for quite a few months or ever years before I really need to find another job. This is the time where my faith is put to the test. Knowing what could happen and believing in what could happen is really a struggles. However a diamond would shine after it is polished. I believe next year 2007 would be a great year for me. Yeah.

As You Think, So Shall You Be.

I took this title from Dr Wayne Dyer. He believes that this is what everyone is going through, and I agree with him. So what makes us think? Is it the brain, or is it something else. Could it be our soul who is making all the thinking, and it manifested through the brain. Most people would say it is the brain. Then what does the soul do?

We, Catholic, believes that all human being have soul, but we cannot give soul a very definite physical description unlike a physical body where it can be weighted and measured. It is say that if you weight a person before and after he die, the weight does not change. So soul does not have weight. Modern science have also cut up almost every parts of human being, but the soul is no where to be seen in the body.

When we talk about soul, we may also mention spirit and ghost. What are all these? Modern definition will be it is a form of energy. So if this energy is in us, how come we seldom or never really know that it is there? Maybe because we are all physical being where we need to feel and see to believe. If soul is inside each of us, is it the soul doing the thinking or is it our physical brain which is doing the thinking, which is in charge? Most people will put our physical being in charge of how we think and how we live. The physical being is being bounded by the law of physic, so there is a lot of limitation when we live. The soul is energy; it is not bound by any physical law. It knows no limit accept those which the physical body tells it. Just like in the show matrix, there is no limit once they enter the matrix.

When we are performing something sacred, we will feel our physical being having a spiritual experience, but if the above mention makes senses, we are actually spiritual being having a physical experience, just that most of the time we feel the other way round. When we think with our physical brain, it will feed back to the soul that we are limited by many things around us. If we think with our soul, we will not be limited by any of the law in physical world, and these soulful thoughts will be manifest through our physical body.

Creating Wealth

I must say, these few days I really learn a lot about how to be wealthy. I have come across about 5 speakers talking about money all saying the same thing. The concept is very simple, and every speakers agree on this.

Yesterday, I attended a wealth creatation seminar. I was expecting to received some new ideas on money making. However to my disappointment, the 2 hrs which the speaker spent talking about wealth, about 100% of what he said was what I have heard before. So I though there was nothing special about this seminar, but never the least, I tried to open my mind and listen to what he had to say. The basic concept of wealth creation can my sum up with just one line.

As you think, So shall you be.

This is not just for wealth, but for all the things in our life. Simple, but very deep. Some people call it the millionaire mindset, some will call it some other name, but the concept is the same. As you think, so shall you be.

Love Is the Greatest, Not just from the bible

Recently I have been listening to quite a few motivational speaker. Maybe I should not call them motivational speaker, but more like teachers of life. Among them are Anthony Robbin, Wayne Dyer and some others. As I listen to them, I find that there is something common about the things they teach. They teach about loving unconditionally to everyone around us. When the first time I hear one of them take about this, I thought of the verse from the bible.

Matthew 22:36-40

Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?" Jesus replied: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments."

From this verse, it talks about love being the greatest commandment, and with love, everything can be overcome. This seem too simple to be so powerful. I have hear of this verse many times, but hearing from someone who have experience this before is really difference, or maybe I have not put my trust in the bible full yet. However, I think a lot of people would just take this verse lightly because it is so commonly used. Thinking about this verse, it make our spritiual live very far from what we should be.

There are tons of wisdom in the bible, if this is the greatest commandments of all. This should be the only wisdom that we should alway remember.

Interesting story. Think Deeper...

"This guy is walking down a street, when he falls in a
hole. The walls are so steep he cannot get out.

A doctor passes by, and the guy shouts up, "Hey you!
Can you help me out?"

The doctor writes him a prescription, throws it down
the hole and moves on.

Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts up
"Father, I'm down in this hole, can you help me out?"

The priest writes out a prayer, throws it down in the
hole and moves on.

Then a friend walks by. "Hey Joe, it's me, can you help
me out?" And so the friend immediately jumps into the
hole!

Our guy says "Are you stupid? Now we're both down
here!"

And the friend says, "Yeah, but I've been down here
before, and I know the way out."
